Fort Cobb, OK – April 29, 2013 – Caddo Kiowa Technology has made several changes in the last four years. One of the latest involved moving the BITE program to a different location. The program has occupied Building 800 for many years but is now housed in Building 1000.
The move also included a two-program student activity: Students enrolled in BITE and Digital Imaging spent several days out in each of the communities in the district taking pictures. The photos were then framed and used in the new BITE classrooms for décor.
“The students took hundreds of pictures from all over our district,” reported Instructional Leader Christi Smith. “We will eventually have the photos hanging in all of our buildings.”
CKTC board members toured the new facilities last month to gauge the progress in the move that will prompt several changes on campus.
More information about CKTC is available online at www.caddokiowa.com or by calling 405.643.5511.
Phil Perryman, Tom Haley, Heather Rhodes, Lance Shenold, John Clay, Dennis Ruttman, Kem Crowell, Ronda Weaver and Sharon Myers listen as BITE instructors talk about the move and student successes.
