Early Care and Education


Students create fun and amazing activities for children; shape the intellectual, social, emotional and physical development of children; and create developmentally appropriate learning activities.

Career Majors

  • ECE Infant and Toddler Care - 1120 hrs.*
  • ECE Master Teacher - 1050 hrs.*
  • ECE Teacher Assistant - 525 hrs.

Approximate Program Cost

  • In-District High School Students - TUITION-FREE
  • In-District Adult Students - $2.50 per credit hour + supplies
  • Out-of-District Adult Students - $5 per credit hour + supplies

Qualities We Recommend

  • Reading, writing and math - 8th grade level

Who Can Apply?

Adults and in-district high school sophomores, juniors and seniors can apply. A background check is required.


Classes are Monday through Friday from August to May with all day or half day enrollment options.
