CKTC welding students have a 100% pass rate

CKTC welding students have a 100% pass rate

Fort Cobb, OK – May 24, 2013 – Fourteen Students enrolled in CKTC’s welding program recently took and passed the Oklahoma State Welding certification.

Those taking and passing the certification (for a 100% pass rate) were Dalton Simmons (Cement High School), Cody White (Cement High School), Tindel Garrison (Hinton High School), Leon Lathrom (Fort Cobb-Broxton High School), Randy Goossen (Hydro-Eakly High School), Tyler Whitley (Hydro-Eakly High School), Antonio Lopez (Hinton), Kris Bradford (Fort Cobb), Jeff Remy (Cement), Cody Fanning (Anadarko), Dallas Dahlenburg (Hinton), Brandon Dahenburg (Hinton), Chase Smith (Hinton) and Seth Roberts (Apache).

Welder certifications are based on specially designed tests to determine a welder's skill and ability to deposit sound weld metal. The welder's tests consist of many variables, including the specific welding process, type of metal, thickness, joint design, position, and others.
