Area students named HOSA Officers at CKTC

Fort Cobb, OK – October 25, 2013 – Each year, students enrolled in Health Careers and Biomedical programs vote on officers for the local HOSA chapter. Officers are named for both the morning and afternoon classes.

This year’s officers are for the morning class are (left to right) Jayme Byrd, President (Carnegie); Kenan Morris, Vice President (Binger-Oney); Sarah Douglas, Secretary/Treasurer (Fort Cobb); and Jade Goombi, Reporter/Historian (Gracemont).

Officers for the afternoon class are (left to right) Nikki Kionute, Secretary/Treasurer (Gracemont); Star Keck, President (Anadarko); Ariel Salazer, Reporter/Historian (Apache); and Megan Miller, Vice President (Anadarko).

HOSA is a national student organization designed to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition exclusively for secondary, postsecondary, adult and collegiate students.
